2010 TWO DAY SEMINAR - Feedback from the seminar

"I waited until now to send this feedback as we needed chance to hear from those who come to our classes and the ones who've e-mailed us with their views. According to what we've heard it was a resounding success - we already thought that but it was nice to hear it in their own words. We know that a fair few of those who came knew about you and your methods already, which is why they came; they wanted more. Quite a lot were new to it and went home totally blown away with it all. One lady in particular was very taken with the whole thing. She started coming to our classes last year and came from the old school of teaching - one of the old yank and push brigade. Over the last 12 months we've gradually got her round to gentler methods and even got her to see what happens when she tries a bit of shaping with her dogs,- she was amazed, she'd always thought one of her dogs in particular was a bit slow. She found she was far from it! After your workshop she went away full of evangelical zeal, keen to try new things, and realised too that her dogs send far more communication signals than she'd appreciated before.

One lady came all the way up from Sussex for the Sunday and stayed back to tell us how much she'd enjoyed it.

All our class members were talking ninety to the dozen about what they'd done with their dogs in the time between Sunday and their class - it was great! Jane with the show Bedlington tried a "busy" walk with him on Monday - pointing out sniffs etc - and was told by the dogwalker next day that he'd been really chilled when he went out with her, a totally different dog to usual.

So thank you, it was a fabulous weekend for us and we really appreciate you coming up to do it. You were all so helpful and friendly - no-one felt as if they were hopeless or asking silly questions - that everyone left feeling they'd got something to work with. Pass our thanks on to Vanessa for us too please, I will get in touch with Chirag to thank him for his help and the links he left about relaxation and chicken workshops.

Hope your course is going well, - from monkeys to dogs to computers - nothing like a bit of variety!

Huge thanks,
Karen"
